| Service Format |
|
We offer two opportunities to worship with us Sunday mornings with services at 9:00 am and 10:45 am. Both morning services follow the same format so feel free to join us at a time that suits you best. Our morning services are a combination of prayer, singing, worship, and meditation. Various people are usually involved in a morning worship at Ancaster CRC. Some mornings we will have a praise band leading us in song. Church School is offered during the morning service for ages 3-9.
Our evening services have a similar feel to that of our morning services. We give an opportunity for the congregation to voice some concerns, reasons for thanksgiving, and anything else that they wish for us to pray about in our evening congregational prayer. |
| Offerings |
| Two plates are passed during the morning services, the first plate for the church budget and the second for a special cause announced in the bulletin. One plate is passed during the evening service which is also for a special cause. |
| Signing for the Hearing Impaired |
| We offer signing for the hearing impaired at the 10:45am service. We use American Sign Language and all who would benefit from this service are welcome to come. |
| Recorded Sermons |
| Those who are unable to attend the service or anyone else interested in a recording of a service can obtain a CD by contacting Stuart Bootsma. |
| Nursery |
| Babysitting is provided during the morning and evening services for children too young to attend the service. For more information, contact the church secretary. Contact Information |
| Church Library |
| Open before and after the morning worship services as well as Tuesday mornings for Coffee Break. Our library contains books, tapes, videos and CDs for all ages. Dontations are always appreciated. Librarian: Mrs. Jane Lise |
